Showing Warnings, Errors, and Metrics

TopLeft boards are able to calculate and display counts of warnings, errors, and other metrics from cards in columns, swimlanes, and entire boards. When metrics are enabled on a board, TopLeft calculates the metrics for each column and displays the them at the top of the column. If swimlanes are being used on the board, metrics are calculated for each column on a swimlane and displayed below the swimlane title. At the top of the board, TopLeft displays the metrics for all cards on the board.

For ConnectWise Kanban boards

Column totals

ConnectWise column metrics:

A. Card Count, warnings and errors - displays the total number of warnings and errors on cards. Warnings are defined as any field that is set orange under certain conditions, and Errors are any field that is red.

B. Column metrics for each board type:

  • Ticket boards
    • Hours sum - displays the total number of actual hours and the total number of budget hours on cards.
    • Hours average - displays the average of actual hours and the average of budget hours on cards.
    • Time in status - displays the sum of all the hours cards have been in their respective columns, and the average time cards have currently spent in that column. This is not the average amount of time before a card leaves the column.
    • Ticket Age - displays the sum and average time it has been since the ticket was originally created.
    • User Defined Field totals - displays the sum and average of selected number type user defined fields.
  • Project Boards
    • Hours sum - displays the total number of actual hours and the total number of budget hours on cards.
    • Hours average - displays the average of actual hours and the average of budget hours on cards.
    • Time in status - displays the sum of all the hours cards have been in their respective columns, and the average time cards have currently spent in that column. This is not the average amount of time before a card leaves the column.
    • Scheduled hours - displays the sum and average of scheduled hours on cards.
    • User Defined Field totals - displays the sum and average of selected number type user defined fields.
  • Activity boards
    • Time in status - displays the sum of all the hours cards have been in their respective columns, and the average time cards have currently spent in that column. This is not the average amount of time before a card leaves the column.

  • Opportunity boards
    • Time in status - displays the sum of all the hours cards have been in their respective columns, and the average time cards have currently spent in that column. This is not the average amount of time before a card leaves the column.
    • Opportunity Age - displays the sum and average time it has been since the opportunity was originally created.
    • User Defined Field totals - displays the sum and average of selected number type user defined fields.

 

For Autotask Kanban boards

Autotask column metrics:
