Editing Tickets and Tasks - Autotask

To save time for managers and technicians, TopLeft supports editing ticket details right from Kanban boards.

Editing Tickets, Tasks, and Projects is available in the Standard plan.

 

To edit a card in TopLeft:

  1. Click the card menu and select Edit Ticket, Edit Task, or Edit Project.
  2. Update ticket fields as necessary.
    1. The following fields can be edited on tickets:
      1. Title
      2. Due date and time
      3. Estimated hours
      4. Account
      5. Contact
      6. Project
      7. Status
      8. Priority
      9. Issue type
      10. Sub issue type
      11. Category
      12. Queue
      13. Work type
      14. Description
    2. The following fields can be edited on tasks:
      1. Title
      2. Start date
      3. End date
      4. Estimated hours
      5. Remaining hours
      6. Department
      7. Status
      8. Priority
      9. Category
      10. Phase
      11. Work type
      12. Description
    3. The following fields can be edited on projects:
      1. Name
      2. Start date (conditional)
      3. End date
      4. Project lead resource
      5. Status
      6. Department
      7. Type
      8. Description
